Sean Steinemann has worked in the golf industry for over 15 years, working at a total of nine golf courses - including public, private and resort courses - the Golf Channel and Sports Illustrated’s Golf.com. Sean’s journey into golf began with Palm Beach County’s Junior Golf Card program as he would get dropped off in the morning at Okeeheelee Golf Course and picked up at sunset almost every day during his high school summers. After high school Sean attended UCF and ultimately ended up working on the website team for the Golf Channel in Orlando. After nearly 5 years with the Golf Channel, he was offered the Social Media Editor position for Sports Illustrated’s Golf.com in New York City. During his time in golf media, Sean had the chance to provide on-site coverage of golf’s biggest events including the Masters, U.S. Open, PGA Championship and Ryder Cup – he’s also taken the pilgrimage to Scotland to play St. Andrews. Sean jumped at the chance to return to Palm Beach County in 2017 with a goal of growing the game of golf here locally.
