The golf course is an 18-hole facility constructed in the central portion of unincorporated Palm Beach County. Because of its unique construction on the old Lantana Landfill and surrounding property, the course has 85-foot elevation changes. Each hole has five tees from which to play to accommodate various levels of players. The golf course, opened in 2007, is a par 72 and is open year-round to an estimated 60,000 rounds. The facility has a driving range, practice greens, practice bunkers and a chipping green. It also includes a full-service golf shop and snack bar with indoor and outdoor seating. LPGA and PGA instructors are available for group and private instruction. The facility consists of approximately 25 acres of fairways, 34 acres of lakes, 65 acres of irrigated Bermuda grass roughs, which includes the driving range, three acres of Tif-eagle greens, four acres of tees, ten acres of support facilities, parking lots and landscaped areas, and 23 acres of native maintained area. Park Ridge Golf Course was recognized by Audubon International as a Certified Sanctuary in 2009.
